Why there are no new RTS games and only remastered?

Hi all!

I don't get it, We already finished so many times all of the C&C\Red-Alert\Warcraft\Starcraft, etc games.
Why don't we get new games with new stories, instead we get remastered games...Not that there is anything bad about remastering, I just want new games!
While all other genres get new games constantly, we got kicked in the butt when WoW came out!

That's so sad, I have nothing to play and really enjoy gaming

respect to Xcom and games like that but it's not even close to RTS

C&C Remastered - Any chance of chrono tank/tesla tank videos from Retaliation intro, like Nyerguds's "The Lost Files" patch for RA1 Aftermath?

We already know that the C&C Remastered Collection is going to use the extra briefing videos that were originally exclusive to the PlayStation game Red Alert Retaliation. (Featuring General Carville!)

Retaliation also had a video of Demolition Trucks nuking a base, and of a battlefield of wrecked Tesla Tanks. Hopefully those videos will be included as well.

Interestingly, the intro movie for Retaliation also has some extra footage that isn't used in any of the missions: the intro shows the Chrono Tank and the Tesla Tank in action.

The Chrono Tank clip is exactly one minute into the youtube video. (It's only about 3 seconds long.)

The Tesla Tank one is just a few seconds later at 1:05. It starts with a Ranger (jeep) skidding around a corner in a snowy forest. It then cuts to a glimpse of a Soviet briefing video, but then it cuts back to the snowy forest, and this time we see a Tesla Tank pursuing the Ranger, blasting it with lightning and then blasting the camera.

Nyerguds released an unofficial addon for Red Alert called "The Lost Files" which added all the extra Retaliation video content, to the PC Counterstrike and Aftermath missions. But he also used footage from the intro - and from an old Red Alert trailer - to add some new videos for use before and after missions: one of the Chrono Tank, one of the Tesla Tank, and one of Tanya shooting some guards and then jumping out of a window.

Nyerguds replaced the Hell March music with sound effects taken from various other C&C1 and RA1 videos. And he added a little moment of the camera suffering interference/static to cover up the join between the two parts of the Ranger/Tesla Tank chase.

The Tanya footage was from an old Red Alert pre-release trailer, it didn't have any sound effects so Nyerguds added some stock sound effects.

I don't have a link to the Chrono Tank video. Basically it's the same 3-second glimpse seen in the Retaliation intro, but with the music replaced with the Chronotank chronoshifting sound effect.

When I played through the Counterstrike and Aftermath missions using The Lost Files patch I felt that this extra footage really added to the excitement of getting these new units. It made the overall experience better than either the original PC release or the PlayStation release.

I really hope that EA/Petroglyph/LemonSky can imitate what Nyerguds did and use the footage in the Retaliation intro to add videos of the Chrono Tank and Tesla Tank in action. (And also use that old trailer to add the video of Tanya jumping through a window.)

It would be a shame if the new Remastered edition of the Counterstrike/Aftermath missions ended up having less video content than a fan-made patch from a decade ago.
