C&C: Remaster Online Community & Longevity Posted: 08 May 2020 06:44 AM PDT It seems a large portion of the player base for the upcoming remaster is excited mainly for the campaign. This makes sense as online connectivity wasn't a thing back then, only LAN gameplay. Additionally, multiplayer most likely won't be very balanced & as intricate as more modern RTS titles. With that being said, what are everyone's thoughts on how big the online scene will be & its longevity as well? ie. private servers right now have titles like RA3, C&C3, & ZH with about 50-100 players online at any given time. Posted: 07 May 2020 10:11 PM PDT However it's a stand-alone expansion. Recently the expansion was merged with the original Ashes of Singularity, but you probably may not get the original vanilla game for free in this freebie. The offer ends in less than 3 days from this time of the post. Unlike most RTS games, this game does contain separate DLCs that aren't free. It's too bad we'll never get to see a future C&C game with DirectX 12 tech (unless if the other C&C remastered versions get to support it). Ashes of Singularity is the first RTS game to attempt this feature and maybe it does have v-ray tracing support. [link] [comments] |
