Frank Klepacki & The Tiberian Sons Livestream w/Tony Dickinson this Thursday at 8PM EST! Posted: 03 Jun 2020 01:00 PM PDT Hey C&C fans! I'm Tony Dickinson, multi-instrumentalist and producer of the Tiberian Sons. I'm extremely excited for the release of the game on Friday, and I'm ESPECIALLY excited for you all to hear what Frank, the Sons and myself did with the remixes. Command & Conquer is one of my favorite series' of all time and I've played every one of the games (Red Alert for probably thousands of hours at this point). This Thursday I'm going to be live streaming playing along with our MAGfest set, video included, in its entirety in celebration of the release. If you haven't already seen the video, great! You'll get to see it for the first time, and if you have already, no problem! I've made a version of the video without my parts and I'll be performing them live. It will almost be like another show. I'm also going to be performing The Tiberian Sons' arrangement "Hell March to the Apocalypse," since it was what kicked off this whole thing, and I will also be talking about working with Frank, setting up the show, and producing the remixes. So feel free to come, enjoy a concert, and ask me some questions. Hope to see you all there!! [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Jun 2020 08:18 AM PDT Silly question, but am I the only one checking this damned sub constantly, hoping to find a new message from the dev's saying "so you know that June 5 date? Yeah, never mind, game is live. Go play!". Friday can't come soon enough.... [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Jun 2020 03:17 AM PDT I sometimes feel that all people remember is Hell March or RA2 tracks. In my opinion, moody music from RA expansions is equally amazing (and my favorite of all the Frank Klepacki's sountracks overall): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grz74YlKx7k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE49A3-uRLE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN9LPqqK0bA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz7CmeUkgxs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4PHDa6C39g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY2Z9OL8aLE [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Jun 2020 08:11 AM PDT Simple question want to see what people might be thinking. I'm a simple person I'd make Hospitals buildable by factions and they'd auto heal. If possible heal only out of combat. [link] [comments]
Tiberium Wars was the biggest disappointment of my life. Posted: 03 Jun 2020 03:40 PM PDT No, that's not an exaggeration. I don't deny that it's a good game with a lot of good qualities, but it missed out on a lot of what made Tiberium Sun my favourite game ever. For me, Tib Sun was such a wild game where anything could happen. There were Ion storms and meteor strikes and mutants and vein holes and old bases. Tib Wars cut most of this out (I refuse to acknowledge the Forgetten Mercanies as mutants) and turned it into a tank spam game. In Tib Sun, tanks and titans were powerful but slow and expensive. Building an army of them was worthless if they all get taken out by an obelisk of light. Tib sun had so many other ways to fight, with apcs and carry alls and stealth units. I don't knock anyone who enjoys Tib Wars, play what you love, it was just a disappointment for me. Leave me your opinions, as I'd love to have a discussion on this. [link] [comments]

Safe to uninstall old version of C&C with WestwoodChat and WestwoodOnline? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 03:03 PM PDT I had bought the Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection on Origin a couple of years ago. From that collection I had installed "Command & Conquer and The Covert Operations" which came with installations of WestwoodChat and WestwoodOnline. Since we're about to get the Resmastered Collection on Steam in a couple of days, I wanted to uninstall the old stuff. The game uninstalled fine, but when I went to uninstall the two Westwood apps, I got a popup prompt asking for permission to remove a certain .msi file from my C\Windows\INSTALLER directory. Is this ok to do? I can't imagine that the uninstaller for those Westwood apps would ask to remove critical system files so those are probably just things that the Westwood apps put there in the first place, right? Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
