GDI Campaign canon ending is the Good Ending in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Posted: 09 Jul 2021 09:20 PM PDT In the GDI Campaign in C&C3: TW, there are two endings: Bad Ending and Good Ending. You get Bad Ending if you used the Liquid Tiberium Bomb while you get the Good Ending if you don't used the Liquid Tiberium Bomb. Recapping on both endings, the Bad Ending have General Jack Granger resigned from his position because he was disgusted with GDI, who are willing to break their own principles when it comes to using Tiberium as weapons (along with the player using the Liquid Tiberium Bomb) while Director Redmond Boyle remained in his position and promoted the player to Head of Military to replace General Granger and saying together they will lead GDI to a "new future" (refer to side note). Then in the Good Ending, General Jack Granger informed the player that Director Redmond Boyle resigned from office to avoid being charged for war crimes was because he authorised the Liquid Tiberium Bomb which is a dangerous weapon and it go against GDI's principles against using Tiberium as weapons. Based on the aftermath of C&C3: TW, I think the Good Ending is canon because GDI does not have any Tiberium weaponries in their arsenal. In C&C3: TW, General Granger said if GDI ever use Tiberium weapons, they will eventually become dependent on using Tiberium weapons like Nod. As seen in Kane's Wrath Act 3 (set 5 years after C&C3: TW), GDI does not have any units that used Tiberium weapons. And then in Tiberian Twilight (I know everyone hates this game even me), GDI still does not have any Tiberium weapons and at best, they used Tiberium for upgrades only. Side Note: Director Redmond Boyle is a corrupt politician which was exploited by Kane as seen in Kane's Wrath. His goal of using him to lead GDI is to corrupt them and Kane succeeded if the player gets the bad ending. [link] [comments] | ||
