A lot units are actually really freaky & would be scary in a resolution where we could see all details. I don't know how many it actually know but according to the concept arts, the Mastermind unit is a tank chassis with a gigantic floating brain in it. https://cnc.fandom.com/wiki/Mastermind_(Yuri%27s_Revenge)) This applies to a lot units / stuff from him and while I could imagine that stuff looking amazingly cool in a useable resolution ..
