Interesting fact about CnC 4

So I'm doing a project for a data science class, and scraped all the games on steam. It turns out that among the 32,000 games on steam CNC 4 is one of the worst rated games. It is one of SIX games that have received an overwhelmingly negative response on steam.

I don't know if it is truly that bad compared to some of the other awful games on steam but that made me LOL quite a bit.

The First Decade with Windows 10

Not sure if this is where to post this, but I am looking for a way to play Command & Conquer: The First Decade and relive some teenage nostalgia. I have great memories of playing some of those titles and would love to experience that again. I would like to avoid pirating, and paying for the game is not an issue, but I am not sure where online the game is available. I have looked on steam on the advice of a friend, but it's not listed there.

I have also read online that many people with Windows 10 have issues running the game once they get it. If there is anyone who has information I would greatly appreciate it!

White box on the GDI medium tank?

I've been getting back into the old C&Cs playing C&C Tiberium Dawn on Open RA and it's got me thinking again. What is that white box on top of the GDI medium tank turret? Was it suppose to be a rocket launcher like the mammoth tank has or just a random design detail. The Red Alert 1 medium tanks didn't have it.

Command & Conquer Of My Dream

I've been playing C&C games since 2001 and remember how in the early 00's there was an overabundance of RTS games that were released every year. Good classic RTS has not been released for a long time. I mean "Classic RTS" when you need to build a base and collect resources. EA is interested in multiplayer which can make a profit and attract new players within a few years. I came up with a modern С&C of my dream that I would like to play nowadays:

• C&C Generals 3. Classic gameplay like C&C Generals, building a base, collecting resources, etc... There are 3-4 main fractions: USA, China, GLA, and maybe EU. Sub-fractions for multiplayer and skirmish: Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Israel, North Korea, Syria. An ability to get various achievements during the walkthrough of the campaign.

• Graphics: textures like Sudden Strike 4. Dynamic weather & time of day, for instance, changing from sunny to rain during the playthrough.

• Multiplayer: like Starcraft 2. Personal skill-based rating. Several leagues: diamond, platinum, gold, silver, bronze. The better you play, the higher your league.

• Skirmish: smart AI trained by a neural network. Playing skirmish will be an enjoyable challenge because the AI will not play the same scripted strategy all the time.

So I've been having no luck against Ironside, as soon as you reach rank 4 he swarms your base with units from all directions and nothing I've tried has worked. Any help?
