Back when I first got an Xbox (probably about 11yrs old), I bought an Xbox magazine that had the demo for C&C3 on it. I played the shit out of that demo. And the Red Alert 3 demo, that one allied mission over and over and I loved it. Those games are the only reason I still have an Xbox around. Why isn't whoever owns it giving C&C the love it deserves with a new fully developed game? [link] [comments] | ||

World War 1 Command and Conquer Posted: 20 Jun 2020 12:18 PM PDT So for RTS games, there seems to be little to none about World War 1, yet it would make sense to make one as it would require a lot of strategy and the ability to outlast as I believe Command and Conquer has those aspects but their games are futuristic or modern. I think it would be fun to start with horses and end with tanks or be able to amass large units to test out risky or rewarding strategies to try and destroy a faction in a complete war of attrition with tech that isn't used or as popular anymore [link] [comments] | ||

But in Challenge mode you had 3 more generals, one for each faction that was pretty overpowered. And the challenge mode added the Infantry and demolition generals to the progression. Any ideas? Differences between difficulty levels in Tiberian Dawn Remastered Collection Posted: 20 Jun 2020 01:35 AM PDT For thouse who wonders what exactly it does. All of the difficulty settings was brought from Red Alert. Although values are set not all of them was used. Only used values are described here. -Handicaps. There is a set of global parameters that modify player's and AI's capabilities. Values are for |Easy|Normal|Hard| respectively Misc parameters - In addition to <BuildSlowdown> AI build time for buildings is slowed down on Normal and even more so on Easy by increasing buildings costs. On Easy cost = (cost+4000)/2, on Normal cost =(cost+2000)/2. - Infantry scatter if tried to sqish & vehicles try to squish your infantry if close: Easy: never Normal: after mission 8 Hard: always - Time before AI begins to send attack groups on player after being alerted: Easy: roughly twice the normal time Hard: roughly half of the normal time - AI never replaces killed harvester on Easy mode Apparently there is a check that prevents AI to replace harvester on Hard mode too If you want I can make similar post for Red Alert [link] [comments] |
