Posted: 10 Jul 2020 12:46 PM PDT Red Alert wasn't completely serious and realistic, but it was pretty close. The Soviet Campaign especially. The Allied campaign starts to get a little campy with Tanya and Einstein, but it's still pretty serious and almost dark at times. Some of the expansion missions (Soviet Soldier Volkov?) get a little bit more ridiculous, admittedly, but it's nothing like some of the over the top silliness that made us love Red Alert 2. Community Expansion Pack for Remastered? Posted: 10 Jul 2020 09:53 AM PDT So I'm seeing an explosion of mods for the Remastered Collection on Steam, including QoL improvements, new mechanics, Rules.ini support, etc. A key flaw is that the game doesn't support stacking mods like other games do. Is it about time that we get a "community expansion pack" (CEP) that collects all the best the community has to offer? How would one go about curating such an effort? [link] [comments] | ||

What is the exact benefit of building more than one building of each type in each game? I can imagine faster build speeds, but I can see it being anywhere from 0-100% faster. [link] [comments] | ||

MP balance needs to be addressed in Tiberian Dawn MP asap. Posted: 09 Jul 2020 10:38 PM PDT Nod Dominates simple as that, the balance is so in favor of nod you may as well not pick GDI. I know the Devs want to keep the experience as raw as possible to the original. But the MP scene is dead on this game because of the balance. GDI Need the MRLS to counter the Bullshit that Nod does. GDI is basically limited to Humvee's and Medium Tanks because of the MRLS is locked behind a insane paywall. Petro need to make the MRLS available after you've built the Comms Center. It's too easy for Nod to Spam Apaches. Rockets are not a good counter. And outside of Orca's which can be chased around. GDI have nothing. It's beyond insane the balance. Is Petro going to address this? I really hoped Balance would be addressed similar to Age of Empires II Definite Edition. There doesn't have to be drastic changes. But GDI really need some Love. And Apache needs nerfing. If they fixed those two issues, the game would be instantly more balanced. [link] [comments] | ||
