An odd proposal to balance the airstrip (FLIP IT ON THE WEST SIDE) Posted: 19 Jul 2020 10:22 AM PDT So in a resent post u/ea_jimtern said something interesting about the airship In Tiberian Dawn, we want to normalize the time it takes for the Cargo Plane to deliver Nod vehicles. In our tests, on Normal speed this can take anywhere from 1 sec to 19 sec depending on your exact Airstrip location(s) and map size. This is of course heavily impacted by your spawn location which is never ideal. We are seeking feedback on what the normalized time should be, with the team's proposal currently at 6 sec on Normal speed. (For reference, this is about how long it takes for the plane to get halfway across a 62 cell width map) ​ If I am reading that right if your base is on the west site of the map it could be a disadvantage. So I did some thinking and I got a mild proposal. Flip the airstrip if you are on the left side of the map, and have the plane go from west to east. This way an airstrip that is on the west side does not have a disadvantage if its the same distance from the edge as one on the other side. US Fan-made Campaign in Zero Hour Posted: 19 Jul 2020 03:31 PM PDT Hi Commanders I'm XJoueur50, a mission map maker working on Generals Zero Hour and a active member of the Generals Zero Hour World Builders Community One month ago, I decided to work on a US campaign that happens 2 years after the events of the last Chinese mission of Zero Hour Actually, this campaign has 5 published missions including the prologue of this Campaign - Prologue - Retreat of Europe : As the US evacuation of Europe is at this end, a US base is ordered to complete a special -Mission 1 - Fight in Louisiana : 2 years after the Chinese Victory in Hamburg and one year after the GLA resurgence, rumors of a GLA's cell on the US soil start to be true -Mission 2 - Return of Liberty : The US president have ordered the first military operation since the US retreat. Remaster Jukebox - how do you know what song is playing now? Posted: 19 Jul 2020 02:33 PM PDT I created a custom playlist because i like to keep TD music in TD and RA to RA. When im ingame and i hear a song i press esc, click jukebox and the music stops, there is no name on the bottom to indicate what was playing and both the available tracks and my custom playlist have more than one highlighted in yellow?
