In C&C remastered games, what is the math for figuring out if repairing is worth it? Posted: 19 Aug 2020 01:41 PM PDT Like, how much do you pay to bring a unit/building from half health to full when you pay for repairs? For building repair, because it is something that is queue free, I can see it be worth it to keep buildings up in base defense, even if halting repairs is hard to do. But for vechile repair facilities, you need to pay 1200 credits and 80 seconds conyard time to do so, so you have to invest something in repairs, so it had better be worth it. [link] [comments]

Generals: Zero Hour online play Posted: 19 Aug 2020 06:40 AM PDT Hey everyone, my favorite C&C game is generals zero hour. a friend of mine (About 10 years ago) made a few fun mods and we always enjoyed playing them. we had been trying to find a way to play each other online (he lives in florida, i'm in ohio) and had struggled until the other day. We discovered that if you use team viewer VPN you can set the game up as a network game. We've had great fun playing the game together. This even works with his mods. If you already knew this, sorry to take up space, if you want more info, just ask! If you are interested in some simple mods and one bat-shit crazy mod, let me know [link] [comments]
[Discussion] Why did the GDI never "populate" the moon? Posted: 19 Aug 2020 06:40 AM PDT The GDSS Philadelphia always seemed like a huge risk to me. Sure, the GDI had the defensive systems, which were outsourced onto earth (and used/absused in TW Nod Mission 1) but the GDI clearly has the ressources + technology to maintain a huge space station AND send up every major GDI politican every year up there for a meeting. They have all those satelites, the ion cannons, the Philadelphia and so on. Populating the moon, and even if it's only as repair base to reach faster the Philadelphia or damaged ion cannons, seems to make a lot sense to me. Outsourcing the whole GDI bureaucracy and major / important persons after the near destruction of Earth (according to TS/FS) would only make sense to me. Reaching Mars is, due to Nod disturbing, not a plan but the moon is right there. [link] [comments]
