Tiberium Sun Nod Demo Thoughts Posted: 20 Jul 2021 11:35 AM PDT So, long ago when i was a wee lad, my father somehow managed to get a TS Demo Disk. I've played that thing at least a dozen times, and it's one of my most precious posessions. But, it only ever had two GDI missions. These missions were great training missions, and gave the player acess to more than enough firepower to complete the mission. But the maps were also pretty neatly designed. My question is, if it doesn't exist already, that how cool would it for there to be a mod that creates a pair of Nod missions meant to serve as a Demo like the GDI ones? Not on their own disk but as a standalone program? I know that in comparison to mods like Mental Omega or Twisted Insurrection, this is really minor, but it would be so neat to me. And this is just my two cents but such Nod missions should be simple, straightforward, and not include the later stage tech. For example, in Mission 2 of the GDI Demo, you regularly get Hover MLRSs dropped off via Orca Dropship, but cannot build them yourself. A comparison would be being given a pair of Nod Artillary with no replacements, but no difficulty protecting them. Idk, I think it'd be neat-o. [link] [comments]

Tiberium Wars PC - is it possible to make custom units? Posted: 20 Jul 2021 01:41 PM PDT Is there a mod/software/program/anything to allow for custom units? For example, if I wanted to make the Railgun upgrade available to APCs? [link] [comments]

I have a problem with Yuri's revenge and TFD and I've not encountered it before, please help. Posted: 20 Jul 2021 12:36 AM PDT So I've had TFD a few years and I've installed it on many systems without a problem, today I've reinstalled Windows XP on my XP gaming machine, I've installed TFD and all the games work apart from Yuri's revenge which has the sides cut off from the displayed image and it ignores the graphics settings, I've tried forcing it in the ini file, I've reinstalled it, installed a variety of patches including a ddraw fix, I've tried everything but it's just not working. It worked fine before i reinstalled Windows, the drivers are the same and everything is as it should be. In Red Alert 2 it asks for confirmation of the settings, in Yuri's Revenge it does nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? I've installed it as I've always done and I've never had this problem. [link] [comments]
Enemy bases blowing up in-game... Posted: 19 Jul 2021 06:13 PM PDT Within a few seconds after starting a single player skirmish game in Generals: Zero Hour. Hence me winning by default... I don't like winning by default. Has anyone else experienced this bug? Admittedly I haven't experienced this bug for a long time. But I still wonder what causes it and if there's a fix for it should it happen again. [link] [comments] |
