Extended version of "We Rise"? Posted: 13 Dec 2019 02:08 PM PST Hey there! Just wanted to ask about an odd thing. I noticed when watching videos of Tiberian Twilight's Skirmish mode, usually when playing as Nod, there's what sounds like the song "We Rise" plays, but there's an extra chorus? Extended? Meanwhile, the song on the official soundtrack does seem to end a bit abruptly. A part of the soundtrack not officially released maybe? Just wondering, as I really like it! (And hopefully, people know what I'm referring to!) Thanks! [link] [comments]
The new Grand Tour special uses music from RA3! Posted: 13 Dec 2019 08:48 AM PST At around 18:30, the track 'Imperial Peril' From the Red Alert 3 OST plays. Someone on the editing team knows what's up. [link] [comments]

Tiberian Sun: setup patrol (continuously defend) Posted: 13 Dec 2019 02:15 AM PST Hi guys As of 2019, Tiberian Sun has been my choice of game. Been playing it for a year, straight now when I'm on the PC. One thing though, how do I setup a patrol? Looking the question up on the internet, just gives me hints on how to basically set a group to move from Point A to Z, in guard mode. I want them to patrol the area continuously (loop all the time). Can it be done, and how? Thanks guys [link] [comments]
What happened to high lethality RTS? Posted: 13 Dec 2019 04:24 AM PST Or high lethality was mostly a command and conquer niche? Outside of the fact that RTS as a genre has been kind of dead, the few rts that still float or small ones one that are or were created are almost always low lethality, by lethality I am referring to how long it takes for units/buildings to die. In games like CnC3 or Zero hour things die incredibly fast, a mistake can cost you a lot, hell if someone managed to stealth a few flame tanks to your base, your base was toast in a few seconds. Now many new rts or popular ones are what i call low lethality, it takes very long for units and especially building to die, you have to see your units repeatedly hammering a building for many seconds before it dies. Was that level of lethality just too fast for people? I just wish we can see some good new big RTS arrive that isnt just another slow warcraft 3 style game. [link] [comments] |
