- Scrin returning via the threshold tower in cancelled Tiberium FPS
- AVATAR READY. I created this Nod army in Planet Coaster...
- Tiberian Dawn Complete/Thoughts (Covert Ops Next?)
- Tiberian Sun was peak atmosphere. Maybe it deserves a full-out RTSFPS remake rather than remaster.

- Please revert the harvester changes back to legacy
- Red Alert 2 Allied mission 4 [HOW TO FAIL & TIPS]
- Ore trucks are unimaginably bad after the last update
- Remaster bugs etc
- Just a badass Black Hand team charge against the enemy bunker while I was playing skirmish in C&C3. I really liked it so I wanted to share (btw I was using mod that make bodies and wreckages stay on the ground for 5 minutes before disappearing and enhanced zoom).
- Generals/Zero Hour on Origin
- When your construction yard dies, don't you think you should be able to build another if you have a war factory?
- Gentool equivalent for ether CnC3 or RA3

Posted: 27 Jun 2020 10:21 AM PDT It's incredible to realize that we're grinding on the C&C ladder in 2020. Hell of a time to be alive! I'm loving the online scene, but I have this pressing feeling like C&C TD and C&C RA are *almost* there. After logging in quite a few hours of online matches, I think I have a fairly good idea of which tweaks would make matches much more competitive and consequently, have a longer shelf life in the online scene. TWEAKS FOR A STRATEGIC C&C - Double (or triple!) hitpoints of every base. We need to nerf the capacity to do drive-by base snipes. When 5 light tanks or grenadiers can snipe a powerplant or ConYard in a matter of seconds, rarely giving my opponent time to react, it makes me feel like there's something wrong with the game. Losing a base early in the game is usually fatal, and when it can be done so easily, it's a sign this needs tweaking. - Increase accuracy to hit moving targets. An APC can maneuver around 20 tanks, drive to the back of the base and unload engineers or Tanya for a lethal blow. It's too easy to do, and very hard to stop. A loaded APC should not be an existential risk. It should require more skill to execute a base capture or C4. - Light tanks (RA) are seriously overpowered. Cheap, fast as hell, almost impossible for my opponent to stop me from driving into their base and snipe anything. These need to be, at least, 30% weaker and with a specific purpose as a harassing unit. - Make other strategies more viable by adding strong counters to tanks, like rocket infantry. If we make rocket infantry be able to make quick work of tanks, these might open up more avenues to try different strategies and force a more varied game. This means increasing the range and damage of rocket infantry. - Nerf engineers by -90% health. The only armor engineers have is their hardhat for kane's sake! Why are they so hard to kill. One shot = one kill. They should be weak as hell. This means I would have to use a diversion to execute a base capture effectively. - Redeployable MCV by default. Ore and tib is very scarce in most games. It's awkward to have us players have to build a chain of bases across the map to get closer to patches. We should be able to expand to new more productive lands easily. - Increase the viability of late and mid-game units. Most games last less than 5 minutes. Almost never do I get to use some of the coolest units in the game—a clear sign that more balance magic needs to be done. By increasing our ability to thwart early game tank and nod bike rushes with infantry and base defense, you open up other strategies. Mid game and late-game units should feel like an upgrade. This means migs, stealth tanks, orcas, v2 rocket launchers and mammoth tanks. However, currently, it feels like nothing beats the good ol' basic tank mass. The last patch was certainly a step in the right direction u/EA_Jimtern. If this is a sign of things to come, then I'm confident that we'll continue to see this very difficult balancing act that is good game design in an RTS game. I think the ideas above should help think about where the game is at right now and what could be done to improve the repetitive meta we currently have. A humble fan. [link] [comments]

Tiberian Dawn Complete/Thoughts (Covert Ops Next?) Posted: 27 Jun 2020 09:23 AM PDT I just completed the NOD and GDI campaigns (normal, not all maps, just 1 play through each) in the remake. C&C was one of the first PC games that I played when I was a kid (like my pre-teen years, almost 34 now). I forgot how difficult the game is, and I never did beat it when I was young without mods. The updated graphics/audio made it a joy to revisit. I think the hardest missions were NOD 11 and GDI 15 (Final). My only gripe is harvester pathing/AI - I kind of wish they did a better job touching that up, but the latest patch made things slightly better. I'm not sure if I want to run through the Covert Ops/Console/Jurassic Missions or just jump to RA next. Are all of the Covert Ops missions ones where you start out with/only get a handful of units? I'm not too fond of those types of missions, but if there are a few here and there I think I will run through them for completeness. All of that will be brand new content for me, since I didn't own the XPAC growing up. This remaster is effing awesome. I've been a huge fan of the series and I hope we get a touch up of some of the other earlier games, and renewed interest in CNC Games from EA. C&C4 was an iffy spot to leave things at, and I'm sad we never got a Generals 2 or a killer follow up to C&C3. [link] [comments]

Please revert the harvester changes back to legacy Posted: 27 Jun 2020 11:11 AM PDT Honestly, they weren't smart but at least they were kind of predictable when microing them. Now I literally have to micro the harvy to every single gem patch because it refuses to travel north west like it used to. I guess it's the pathfinding in general that causes most of the problems, aswell as the fact the refinery queues are messed up. Please just leave their harvesting logic alone. [link] [comments]

Ore trucks are unimaginably bad after the last update Posted: 26 Jun 2020 09:03 PM PDT They are so bad they REFUSE to get gems. I think the change had the right idea, I actually would like if the ore trucks did have better intelligence, I would rather micro manage units than ore trucks, but the intelligence right now is to say GEMS BAD, ORE GOOD! and it needs to change. Also, this remaster is so amazing, the player quality has gotten so good, especially with the replays available, knowledge is spreading fast with that, and play level is high. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Jun 2020 06:33 AM PDT I've complied a list of issues from a few different players. Hopefully they can be reviewed by the appropriate people. - Game still crashes for no reason. Quick matches freeze for no reason all the time - Fix the trucks, they currently ignore any Gems if ore is nearby. (especially bad in arena) - Make Allied Countries properly give bonuses (Germany is the only one that works) - Make Naval/Sub Pen and Fake Naval Yards not required to be killed in order to win the game. Else make them have to be built closer to shore. I'd prefer the former. - Tell players which map they are playing before the game loads up - Fix Repair/Sell Hotkey (currently it requires you to hold the key down when it's supposed to be 'toggle') - Increase/uncap the maximum map scroll rate - Have the game check for draws if players have no money, no facilities, no combative units, and the game hasn't progressed for 3 minutes. - Make inputs client sided, not server sided. (IE. If i click on a tank, and after the delay it moved out of the way it should still register as an attack order) This would also fix all that deselecting and inputs not going through. - Do whatever you need to do so tanks and units are more responsive, seems to have a delay. - Allow Holding Scatter/Stop to repeat that same order to the selected units. - Fix bookmarking position. Currently they set the bookmark with an offset of 3 spaces to the right. (so if i have a war factory on the left edge of the map) I will ALWAYS have to move my screen to be able to see that War Factory - Selling and repair sounds shouldn't be heard by the enemy. - Since they lowered the punishment for losing all powers, they are saying it's ok for them to change the game from the original. I'd like no infantry to pop out of vehicles, and have the CY always give an engineer if sold. Removing luck based elements seems like a good idea imo. - Super Tesla - can place a tesla on top of inf making it 2/3 times harder to kill - example: https://www.twitch.tv/docsworld/clip/ProtectiveIcyAsparagusTheRinger - Maps; This will be controversial, but removed Path and added Things To Come. Things To Come is so uneven. Wouldn't be too hard to edit the map so each starting location had similar resources - Starting locations - changed to only corner vs corner. Traditional 1v1s were always corner vs corner on WestWood online days, currently they are just random. Regards, [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Jun 2020 11:35 AM PDT Do these games need be launched through Origin, is GenTool easy enough to get working with them, and are there any compatibility issues with playing these online with people who might not be using Origin? [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Jun 2020 11:30 AM PDT Like I was just in an all that glitters game and they rushed my yard, but I still had loads of harvs and stuff but now i can't do anything. Surely you should be able to build a spare MCV? I guess you need a repair bay, but still annoying to be stumped like that :P /raggggge! Anyway, feel free to disagree. I just find it annoying in this game how your most important thing is totally defenceless. Like in Age at least your town centre can defend itself and it can't be killed in like 2 seconds RIP!
