The Brotherhood of Nod political analysis in First Tiberian War? Posted: 08 Dec 2020 11:29 AM PST What kind of movement do you consider the Brotherhood of Nod to be? In the games it is presented as a Third Worldist revolutionary movement and transhumanist religious cult, but it manages to have a global scope and go toe-to-toe with GDI and win decisive battles. I wonder how Nod was able to have such a large following out of nowhere only a few years after the Tiberium meteorite landed, didn't they need a significant amount of the Third World to be turned into Yellow Zones to present themselves as a movement that not only wants to represent peripheral countries, but has the capacity to use Tiberium to improve the lives of the inhabitants in these countries? It presupposes that the Brotherhood had long-term ties with groups like the IRA, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, etc (or their correlates stemming out of an alternate history Stalinist WW2) based on something other than Tiberium and they'd need significant funding and influence to be able to begin the opening offensive in Africa (which I think began before the GDI campaign in Europe). How was Nod able to keep their revolutionary image when they clearly engaged in genocide and political murder from the very beginning of their campaign in Africa? How did GDI not capitalize on this and present Nod as something similar to ISIS? [link] [comments]

Reskin Mod Won't Work On Origin Posted: 08 Dec 2020 03:23 AM PST https://gamebanana.com/skins/131557 This is a mod for Generals: Zero Hour. I tried putting the folders in various places within my Origin directory but nothing worked. Has anyone figured it out or could someone figure it out? [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Dec 2020 04:37 PM PST A quick clarification question? In the cannon, how far west did the Soviet advance push before it was thrown back in Command and Conquer Red Alert 1? [link] [comments] |
