An idea to add utility to engineers.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 02:49 AM PST

So, that game which shall not be named tried to turn engineers into a vehicle/infantry repair and mine clearing unit. Well, I got a better idea. The engineers should be able to create obstacles to slow down/ hurt infantry and vehicle units trying to cross them and complement walls alongside building capture and repair . Also the type of obstacle created should depend on the engineers' faction. For example, GDI engineers should be able to create barbed wire fences to counter Nod's reliance on infantry and Nod gets tank traps to counter GDI's more mechanised methods of warfare. To balance it, the Engineers are vulnerable when creating the obstacles and obstacles can be blown up with firepower.

    Zoom in German Generals

    Posted: 18 Jan 2021 11:57 AM PST

I love generals and I'd love to play it but everytime I start it the camera is way too zoomed in. I can't zoom out, only zoom in more.

Apparently there are patches for this, but I play on the censored german version, which has it's game files structured differently, I therefore can't apply the fix.

Does anyone know what to do, because I'd just love to play it again.

The most terrifying unit in the whole series?

    Posted: 17 Jan 2021 10:12 PM PST

What's the unit that when you see or heard (if they're announced globally) made your heart rate spike and abandon everything you're currently doing just to kill that unit?

Answers can be from Tiberium, Red alert or Generals universe or even better, all of them.

Just some ideas for a crazy crossover concept of Winx Club and Command and Conquer.

    Posted: 17 Jan 2021 07:32 PM PST

As a Command and Conquer fan and a Winx Club fan, I got the idea for an AU crossover concept of Command and Conquer and Winx Club involving the Dead 6 of Command and Conquer: Renegade becoming teachers for the Red Fountain School of Specialists.

And in case if you are wondering does the United Nations Global Defense Initiative exist in this cross? Yes, though it has different origins. Rather than being formed as a counter-terrorism/peacekeeping force to uphold the ideals of the UN Charter, the Global Defense Initiative (GDI for short) was formed as a military representative body/ reference point for Earth when dealing with the Realm of Magix's military affairs and as Earth's contribution/aid to the Realm of Magix in fighting the threats to the Magical Dimension.

And as for Earth's technologies? Well, ORCA-like VTOLs have been successfully put into production for both civilian and military use and research is going on in regards to the first baby steps into powered exoskeletons and mechanized walkers such as the Titan and Wolverine thanks to the technology and magic of the Magical Dimension helping to 'fill in' the reliability issues that would result from such technology.

But by far the most deadly weapon of Earth and GDI in it's contributions to the Realm of Magix's defence is not a tank, or a jet, or a satellite based weapon system, but a human being. More specifically, they are GDI's Sorcerer-Commandos. Combining the best of special forces training onto magic users such as fairies, witches and wizards and equipped with a wide variety of weapons such as burst firing-carbines with specialised armor- and protection spell piercing ammo and plenty of det-packs together with advanced knowledge in combat magic, they are considered one-man armies in right.
