    From a request, here is the GDI version of 'Things the Children of Nod are not allowed to do'. Created by a very frustrated General Jack Granger in universe after one too many hilarious incidents involving the misuse of GDI's hardware .

To those GDI Commanders engaged with the Invaders in Italy , I do not know how you managed to capture a Signal Transmitter and how one of you managed to summon a Mothership complete with a panicking Foreman whom I can hear screaming in the background of one of your transmissions ("Huh, why my Mothership is acting weirdly. Wait, why the hell I cannot access the controls of my ship!?"). But if you intend to use that Mothership against the Invaders, please be mindful of WHERE YOU AIM IT!
    2. Whoever wrote that doujin (fan manga) shipping our EVA and the Brotherhood of Nod's LEGION, that was the crappiest romance manga I've ever read!
    3. Yes, Sandra Telfair is capable of pronouncing her 'l's and 'r's properly as well as being capable of knocking out your teeth as a member of GDI's InOps.
    4. No, Jump-jets cannot be used for takeaways.
    5. Or pulling off stunts you see in action films.
    6. Or re-enacting Winx Club scenes.
    7. Why, yes that incident where a Juggernaut kicked an Avatar in the crotch and disabled it was just a fluke. We do not endorse our walkers kicking things as a proper CQB tactic.
    8. Grenadiers, if you happen to have someone leave behind his or her personal belongings inside a Hammerhead or Guardian APC, DO NOT THROW IT AT ANY ENEMIES YOU ENCOUNTER ! You have rocket-propelled AI-guided grenades for a REASON!
    9. To those idiots who tampered with a Threshold Tower and somehow ended up inside a universe where trade in 'Spice' controls the universe and returned back in one piece somehow , congratulations for being the first humans to do interdimensional travel. Now report to the nearest brig or MP for arrest.
    10. Why yes, Snipers, yelling out 'Sneak, sneak, sneak' will hamper your own stealth skills. Especially if you do it in front of the Brotherhood of Nod.
    11. Engineers, if you happen to capture and restore the husks of Avatar Warmechs, please do not use them to replicate scenes from Super Sentai. PLEASE!
    12. Especially if you are a member of the Steel Talons. You should know better as GDI's experimental unit.
    13. Steel Talons Combat Engineers, if you use your pistol in combat, the battle cry of 'No fear!' is approved. The battle cry 'I'm like cowboy' is however, not approved, especially if you are from Russia.
    14. No, Combat Engineers do not have to watch westerns as part of their weapons training.
    15. MSGT Kanade, SPC Ako and LT Ellen of ZOCOM , please stop misusing your Zone Shatterers to provide sound for concerts.
    16. No, Tiberium cannot be controlled by singing to it. That incident with MAJ Iris was a fluke.
    17. GDI Commandos, while you have some impressive skills with marksmanship, such as shooting accurately with your non-master hand, you do not have to show off. Yes, please stop pulling off those stunts you see in action movies.
    18. While the Zone Armor programme can support a wide variety of weapon systems, due to weight concerns, we have to pass on the idea of back mounted missile launchers and a belt-fed minigun with a backpack ammo supply.
    19. No, Nod does not punish failure by imprisoning members inside a Tiberium crystal and transporting them to somewhere desolate.
    20. Yes, that 'banana in tailpipe' prank does work on Orcas. No, you cannot do it again.
    21. No, the requirements for being a Mammoth Tank or a MARV driver does not include having a deep voice as one of the requirements. To disapprove this rumour, one of our Mammoth Tank drivers in the Steel Talons can perfectly imitate the voice of a ten-year old Japanese schoolgirl.
    22. Pitbull drivers, please stop playing tejano whenever you attack. Seriously, Nod now knows how to look out for signs of an impending GDI attack because of that.
    23. Yes, Ox Transports are meant for transport over obstacles, not to get takeaways.

    How to actually install RA2 and play it?

    I've almost finished the original RA2 soviet campaign (finished allies already), but all of a sudden I'm having lots of issues just running the game. It would run super slow and stuttery, totally unplayable. So I reinstalled the game, and followed this guide to get it running again: http://cncmaps.net/how-to-play-red-alert-2-on-windows-10/ Mostly works now, but sometimes it crashes when I try to save or load a game, and then on top of that just crashes randomly for good measure.

    Just wondering what's the latest spells/incantations/sketchy-ass-downloads I need to install in order to get this thing humming along again?

    EDIT: Oh, sorry, some info: I'm running Windows 10, and the game is from the Origin Ultimate Collection.

    It's on game pass now and tried to play a skirmish with a mate and when loading into game I got a black screen and he has infinite loading. Is there any fix for this? If I host then he can't make any selections in the lobby

    I managed to get in game with a random and it worked fine

    What to against terror drone Spam (ra2)?

    I just started to get into RA2 multiplayer and so far every thing seems to be fine but I just can't figure out what to do against terror drones. I (france) Was playing multiple matches against a friend (russia) and despite me being way faster than him in terms of production I have to waste a lot on pillboxes and stuff in the early game to not get harrassed to death. So far I've found no Tier 1 vehicle that was able to kill the Terror drone in a 1v1.

    I dont see terror drones being used much in Quickmatch Videos, so they have to be bad. But I simply didnt get what you're supposed to do. Is it a micro thing? Or am I missing the right units?
