Posted: 10 Aug 2021 11:38 AM PDT Human troops are trained from base facilities, infantry comes out of barracks, vehicle out of war factories, nothing extraordinary. But Scrin facilities are portals, scrin troop warp in through those portals, they are not built or trained. But where is the entry point to these portals? Threshold towers would have been the link to their worlds but never got activated. So all scrin troops were local to the Earth, did they keep ships in orbit behind the moon or something and only landed a fraction to establish portals? Or did the big of the troop land at the tiberium node in Rome and are warping to other facilities from there? [link] [comments] | ||
| What's the best way of playing Tib Sun? Posted: 10 Aug 2021 12:11 PM PDT Hey everyone. Im a big fan of Tib Wars, so i've wanted to play the original Tib Sun for a while now. The settings is cool, the story sounds interesting and its freeware, so nothing to lose right? Well, the problem is, i can't really get far into it. It's not just the more oudated gameplay (i can live with not having attack moves and rally points... i think) but the problem is the game is always in a weird spot visually. Wide resolutions make stuff way too smal (including the menu, which just bcomes tiny since it doesnt adjust to the screen for some reason), but small resolutions make it hard to control things due to sensibility and how little you can see. I tried the Warzone mode, since its supposed to improve the visuals and stuff, but it also dosent work well (the game lags a lot and the campaign is apparently busted). So what i want to know is, what is the ideal way to play Tib Sun? Are there any mods that help? I dont want a drastically different experience, i just want to experience the og game in the best way possible. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] | ||
