    To the point:

    I haven't played video games in probably a decade or more. I remember enjoying command and conquer & act of war: direct action. I liked the newer versions of c&c. I don't like things that are "too" futuristic. No aliens and such.

    What is the easiest/ cheapest way to get back into it. I only liked playing it on a PC.

    Backstory,

    I work at a hospital. I am trying to have something planned out when/if I get quarantined.

    Truth be told , I played a Samsung tablet version of , "Red Sun" and it reminded me of how much I enjoyed that game.

    To anyone that responds, Thank you very much. I really don't know where to start looking. I know people download games now. I've only ever bought games at Walmart and GameStop , always for my kids.

    Were the majority of Nod's TW1 era troops mercenaries or professionals ?(Lore question)

    I was wondering if the majority of TW1-era Nod soldiers (excluding the Black Hand) were professionals who joined up for the cause of the Brotherhood of Nod during the TW1 era or were they mercenaries similar to that of Mendoza and Sakura ? I think that while mercenaries might be an option for Nod to get soldiers (Nod is quite rich thanks to that control over Tiberium harvesting) during TW1, there is a disadvantage in loyalty as mercenaries might be brought out.

    How to make sniped vehicles/vehicles that you can capture with infantry?

    A question to those who use World Builder program for Red Alert 3. How can you make sniped vehicels aka those that you can capture with any infantry (except scouts)

    I want to remake that one map called "Sniper's Hollow" from Uprising for Vanilla Red Alert 3 so it could be Multiplayer playable, but problem is that i don't know how to make "empty" vehicles.
    Which scripts should i use to realise it?

    MARV infantry slot glitch

    I've read in a few different forums that when people played Global conquest and created a task force with a MARV, sometimes it's infantry slots had a bug. Like how avatars keep their upgrades, MARV's sometimes kept their infantry in their slots for future combats but not only that, the slots would still stay empty. The only thing was that the same units won't stack on each other in the same slot but you could put different types of soldiers in each one so you could've theoretically have a marv with 4 rifleman, missile launchers, grenadiers, engineers, snipers and depending on your subfaction, 4 zone troopers or zone raiders (but it is possible to locate the MARV's task force next to a Zocom or GDI base that's about to be attacked so that both of them would be in the battle to have access to both unit types) and in total the MARV could have 28 additional turrets and if it has a heroic rank, it could single handedly obliterate any possible opposition. BUT... no matter what I do I could not for the life of me find the conditions for the bug to work. I played 2 games just experimenting to find the condition but nothing - upgrading or not upgrading the task force - repairing them (with and without upgrades) - having the infantry be part of the task force or created by an mcv - having a few battles resolved in real time and with ai with all the above variations (battling bases and task forces) - saving and loading multiple times and playing an entire game in one sitting

    The only 2 things left that come to my mind are having the MARV be destroyed and either creating one in the same battle that it was lost in or repairing the task force afterwards with the previous variations and if that doesn't work, playing the other 2 patches of the game (maybe they fixed it but I didn't see a log stating that this specific bug was fixed). If anyone knows anything, I would be grateful for the help. It's not about winning, I just want to experience having that much power in my hands.

    Is there a mod that does the same thing?
