At some point, I am fed up with wasting my time trying to guess if the room is open or not, especially if these people keep changing maps/settings so I end up hopping in that room again to get instakicked. | Cannot get C&C Generals to launch for the life of me. Posted: 06 Oct 2020 03:57 PM PDT Alright, couple of beginning things. I have the Origin Complete Collection and have played the game in the past. I have played C&C Generals on and off for a couple years, but I recently decided to try and pick it back up. However, I can't get it to launch. The last time I touched it was last year (early 2019). Didn't touch anything (it ran just fine in the past with Gentool) and now it wouldn't run. Been looking up ways to get it to run and have had zero luck. It always crashes right after I select either OG or Zero Hour. Through my adventure I found this post: Which in turn led me to: https://cncnz.com/features/technical-support-help-guides/installing-command-conquer-generals/ & In the process of this I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and have followed them to the letter each time with no success. Is there an aspect that I am missing, or is there some other way to go about doing this? I have also tried to use the C&C Online launcher, but it doesn't seem to work either even though on the website it says people are playing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
