    Am I going crazy, or is Tiberian Dawn extremely difficult and frustrating?

    Day 3 of Command & Conquer: Remastered.

    The first 6 GDI missions went well. I've had a good amount of RTS experience going into the first C&C, so I thought I was going to be just fine.

    Clearly not. I've lost my mind many times and slammed my head against my desk some.

    Whenever I'd have large infantry groups, I'd face against flamethrower infantry every single time. Trying to scatter them with X to avoid getting killed in one swoop, every single one of my infantry STILL gets annihilated because the area of effect of the flamethrower guys are that insane. It's a pretty unfair enemy, I gotta throw in my vehicles in front of their asses with my troops in the back and hope for the best. One flamethrower guy vs. a dozen grenadiers is an evenly matched fight.

    GDI mission 7 and 8B requires a shitload of multitasking. In 7, I had to find the tiberium mine up north while getting HAMMERED from north and south, just consecutive NOD forces after NOD forces. Mining tiberium isn't a problem, until endgame where the enemy decides to mine into your territory.

    8B is some of the craziest shit I've ever experienced in a RTS game with its multitasking. I gotta defend some old ass dude named Doctor Mobius, defend my base from invaders whenever I do attack harvesters (which is inevitable since there's like TWO or THREE in the middle of the map when I get to attack), have to take down two enemy bases at once, while preventing enemies from flying in and destroying houses and villagers. Moving large groups of troops is hell because of the multiple paths and bridges.

    I can take out as many harvesters and buildings as I can from the AI, and they'll just regenerate them like it's fucking nothing. Troops, too, they get replaced in an instant. Do they have unlimited tiberium or something?

    On some occasions, the villagers will just fly off to the side and get their asses poisoned by tiberium. Had a good walk, you idiots?

    8A didn't go as planned, either. I have no access to vehicles, only have one harvester while my enemy has THREE (and at the same time I've read somewhere on a Steam forum that the AI harvesters get tiberium faster than you), and flamethrower fuckers are at it again annihilating all my infantry.

    Incredibly unforgiving RTS game, it's driving me insane. I don't want to play on casual as it's probably too easy, and here on normal, I have no chance of beating the missions at this point.

    I've practically done everything I can.

    Please God, tell me that Tiberian Dawn isn't easy.

    I had to share this epic cnc generals zero Hour ffa round I played in multiplayer on casino map. This was a simultaneous 4K recording from my streaming session on both twitch and Reddit at the same time. sadly reddit the gamingLounge doesn't seem to like cncg :(

    Generals vs KW scrolling

    One of the reasons I tend to stay way from the newer SAGE C&Cs is the 30fps cap. I fired up generals with a friend yesterday for the first time in years and instantly noticed the smooth scrolling. Apparently scrolling in cnc3 is definitely 30fps scrolling while in generals you can see only the animations are 30fps. The scrolling is "unlimited"

    How is this possible to achieve in generals but not in KW... It's such a bummer because I prefer KWs gameplay.

    They are unofficial patches, but do they come with the C&C online launcher? or do i have to download them separately?

    BTW do maps come included with the "online launcher" or i need to download them separately too?
